Meet the Stretchy Squad
Working together to help keep you together!
Jenna
Founder of Empowered Movement PT, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Personal Trainer, and Hypermobility Coach. Some people know me as @thehypermobiledpt
Jenna's physical therapy journey started in middle school with multiple kneecap subluxations. She always enjoyed being active and playing sports, but this injury instilled a fear of movement. She was sent to physical therapy for her "loose ligaments".
Physical therapy changed her life and helped her find freedom and confidence with movement. This led to her becoming a physical therapist!
Maeve
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Hypermobility Coach
Maeve has worked with dancers and performers of all levels across the country. From working with dancers, and through her own lived experience, Maeve has focused her time working with those on the hypermobility spectrum.
As a PT, Maeve is passionate about keeping all her clients active in ways that are most important to them. She strives to keep her sessions fun, informative and empowering. In her free time Maeve enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her one-eyed cat Reese.
Jess
Chaos Coordinator and Hypermobility Newbie
Jess brings a sense of order by providing behind-the-scenes support to keep everything running smoothly. Before joining the team she was on her own personal hypermobile and AuDHD research journey to better understand what she'd been experiencing her whole life. Thanks to the social media algorithm working it's magic, she found Jenna and everything started to make sense.
Now, Jess is committed to supporting the trained therapists at Empowered Movement to provide the care, information, and validation to others since she understands just how impactful it can be.

Whether she’s zooming through the house, binkying, or perching like royalty, she makes sure everything runs on her terms. But when feelings get heavy, she takes her role as Emotional Supervisor seriously, thumping to restore order and remind employees to stop crying (she really does this). She’s small in size, but big in personality - and she knows it.
